At one point, she had 9 animals in her house including birds, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs. Store: ForTheLoveofDOXIES ForTheLoveofDOXIES designs and creates specialty dog breed notecard sets. Each set is handstamped, not computer generated. Every aspect of the sets is handcrafted. As they are handcrafted, no 2 sets are generally the same...unless a customer requests them to be alike. Any set can be custom made to include specific cardstock colors, ribbon choices etc. ForTheLoveofDOXIES takes pride in their work. All items, from their notecards to their stained glass pieces, are patiently made and carefully constructed. All items are packed and shipped carefully to get to their new destinations safely! ForTheLoveofDOXIES is all about the Dachshund breed. Their store is managed by 4 Mini Dachshunds: Heidi, President. Elizabeth, Vice President. SweetPea, Treasurer. Peanut, Secretary. They make a great management team and they keep their human mom, and provider, in line! It is for them that this venture began. Elizabeth (12 years old) was rescued from a shelter when she was just 9 months old. It took considerable time and money to get her healthy. SweetPea (4 years old) and Peanut (2 years old) both came to join Elizabeth and Heidi (12 years old) separately. Neither SweetPea nor Peanut was healthy, but after continuous care and lots of love both have recovered. Each and every one is now healthy and happy and will never again have to endure an unhealthy nor an abusive life. ForTheLoveofDOXIES proudly supports DARE; Dachshund Adoption Rescue and Education. They donate partial proceeds from the sales of their handcrafted items and also donates handcrafted items directly to DARE for them to auction and sell at their different functions. Store: MerryBluesArt Merry Blues Art presupposes a world of eco-friendly paper goods. All calendars, cards and notepads are printed on 100% tree-free banana paper (made from agricultural waste) and other items are made from miscellaneous reused paper (scraps, misprints, etc). Stationary is fun and personal but Merry Blues makes it sustainable, too! Animals are better than us. They're honest and fair in a world of so much injustice. I see this with my pets, but since uncovering my eyes to veganism and animal rights I'm glad to say that I see this concept reflected in all animals. Their life is as precious as any other and I'm here to respect them. Charity of Choice: Farm Sanctuary
